This bed has a fender on one side only.  It fits up against a wall and has steps.  This bed is great for smaller children because you can lower the mattress to create a side that prevents the child from rolling out of bed.  Either side can be against the wall.  Please specify when ordering.  Painted any color you'd like.  Comes with a plexiglass window and a window light
